We work alongside Elite Weddings & Events based in Wrexham for our exclusive wedding packages. We are committed to giving you the day you have always dreamed of and a day your guests will never forget. ​ Our iconic venue, filled with history, character and warmth is situated on the outskirts of Wrexham and only 10 miles from Chester, The Llay Miners Welfare is the perfect venue for your big day. Our function rooms are large enough for 200 guests, with 150 of them being seated. We have a huge stage and dance floor ready for the evening and a well equipped bar included in your package. Your Ceremony We are licensed for Civil Ceremonies & unlike many other venues we promise that yours will be the only wedding at Llay Miners Welfare on your chosen day, with use of our grounds for your memorable photographs. Our dedicated Wedding Specialist from Elite Weddings & Events is always on hand to create the perfect package for you, so you can simply relax & enjoy the magic of your special day.
